EventinArts is looking for original artwork that reflects the theme of the competition on ADDICTION. The dimensions must not exceed 8” x 8 “ (nor protrude more than 3” or be heavier than 1 lb) on unmounted artboard, illustration board, watercolour paper or unframed canvas, using any paint medium of your choice. Friday Jan 22 C.L.A.P., Vancouver-based rap artists, will be performing their inspirational hip-hop music at different Olympic venues Feb 17-21. Eventin-Arts is a group of Christian artists/musicians/designers who will be engaging people in meaningful conversations while selling CDs to those who want to take the music and memory home.

Sat June 27 Rwandan One Dollar Campaign to raise funds and to help the widows and orphans who are in Rwanda. We are asking people to give to support the rebuilding Rwanda, to financially support the vulnerable victims of the genocide 15 years ago. There will be hip-hop music from CLAP, Rwandese dancers, sharing from Jackson, who is an orphan living in Canada and light refreshments.

Howard Olsen has been engaged in sales and sales management for over 20 years. His last corporate assignment was the Global Account Manager for Kuehne & Nagel (a $7 billion logistics company responsible for the Fortune 500 Hi-Tech sector worldwide). In 2000, Howard has started his own company – High Output Training Systems. Howard will conclude his talk by sharing his life story, how in the midst of his success in business he discovered value in a personal relationship with God. He’ll also share how his faith is impacting his personal and professional life today.
