Have you ever gone on a faith adventure to see where God is working to bring people into His Kingdom? Recognizing that many who come to this country are looking for a better life, we approach them affirming that their past is valuable and that their future is bright. Culture is nothing more than a set of rituals in which we adhere to and can differ simply because we have never learned to do things another way. God is bringing the nations to Canada and in order for us to be diligent about loving them, we must first come alongside to learn who they are and why they’ve moved thousands of miles to make Canada their home.
One of the ways to come alongside is to care for them through various means. It can be as easy as inviting them to your home for tea, giving them a plate of cookies with a card, or offering to pray for them if you sense they are burdened. One of the simplest ways to trust God to bring you on a faith adventure is to have the mindset of Jesus- love them for who they are. You cannot offend someone if you are too busy caring for them.
